We have successfully completed 700 acres potato contract farming through our potential 5,000 contract farmers and lead farmers. Our production is very high because of good quality seed potatoes "ATLAS" and it is France potato variety, production range about 18-20 MTS per acres, most of our contract farmers are quite happy to get more yields compared to last few years. Also we purchase potato from the field according to our contract agreement and we pay BDT 10.00 per kg and their production costs are BDT 3.75 per kg.  All of our contract farmers are quite happy to continue to do contract farming in the future years. Also more new farmers willing to join us next season.

However, we need to produce more production both exportable potatoes and for industrial processing potatoes through contract farmers we welcome to new contract farmers to join our company.

Based on the circumstances, we need some technical support from an international donor agency who can provide technical support to manage this contract farming program including farm management training to farmers, potato harvesting technology, and other technology as well.  Also involve NGO or other company to perform this activities through our company.
