I am now working on my 15 month country project "Impact of Intellectual Property Management Sensitization Program for SMEs in India" within the framework of "Industrial Property in the Global Economy" for third world countries as WIPO fellow, initiated by WIPO, SPRO & SIDA from April 10 to May 2, 2012 held in Stockholm, Sweden and I have successfully completed and got certificate of WIPO-SWEDEN Advance International Training Course on “Industrial Property in the Global Economy” as regional follow-up program held in Manila, Philippines, October 8–12, 2012.

My project guides are:

  1. Mr. Christian Nilsson, Director, International Cooperation,Swedish Patent and Registration Office (SPRO), PRV, Box 5055, 102 42 Stockholm, SWEDEN.

  2. Mr. Henry Olsson, Special Government Advisor, Ministry of Justice, SE-103 33, Stockholm, SWEDEN.


Within my country project I have completed my first initiative, a state level One Day Sensitization Programme on “Innovation & Intellectual Property Management within MSMEs for Business Success” on 13th May 2012 at Kennedy Hall, Institute of Jute Technology, 35, Ballygunge Circular Road, Kolkata – 700 019, West Bengal. India.
My second initiative is “Two Day National Workshop on Innovation & Intellectual Property Asset Management for MSMEs” at Kolkata on 7th & 8th (tentative) March 2013. It is an in between initiative for a State level and International Programme on Intellectual Property Management for business success for SMEs within the framework of outreach program of WIPO.

The basic objective of such initiative is to provide a platform where the SMEs in India can interact with the Central Govt. IPM support organizations, R&D institutions and other related organizations that may care for their IPM system development and M&A with foreign enterprises for business success to ge
