I belong to IAP grantee SeeMyTree AB, which is a mobile IT methodology for organising and marketing personal carbon compensation in the form of micro carbon forestry. I got the inspiration for this while working in a rural development project in Wollo, but we'll start off in English-speaking countries in Africa first. Then when we've got it working in English, we'll start making an Amharic version and start operations in Ethiopia.
At present i'm busy putting together all the information requested by SIDA/IAP, so that we can access our Small Grant and start seriously evaluating the viability of our business model.
