I have a big land in Mymenshingh, Bangladesh.
In 2011, I produced (2500 kilos @ 3 acres) Turmeric and my selling price per kilo in wholesale Tk. 200 and my all expenses were Tk. 37.50. I got net profit Tk. 160 per kilo which is Tk. 400000.
In 2012, I produced Turmeric in my whole land and got only 2000 kilos (decrease production for insufficient rain) and now Turmeric rates per kilo in wholesale market only Tk. 30. I got loss per kilo Tk. 10.In every agriculture sector of Bangladesh situation is same.
Now my partner wants to produce pineapple instead of TURMERIC next year.How can help supply chain in this sector??????????????????
