Title: Structure and dynamics of Malawi cassava markets

Description: “A study was carried out to determine the structure and dynamics of Malawi’s cassava markets. This was a follow-up study to one in Zambia. The study was carried out in the urban areas of Blantyre, Lilongwe, Mzuzu and Zomba as major urban areas in Malawi therefore major markets for cassava and the supplying districts of Zomba, Nkhotakota, Nkhata-Bay, Kasungu and Mchinji. The objective was to determine the value chain in terms of actors, what they do, the various channels, the products, the prices and trends.”
