This document presents the key findings from an assessment of the current perception and practice of inclusive business across the five pilot countries of the Business Innovation Facility programme(Bangladesh, India, Malawi, Nigeria and Zambia) amongst the business, donor and NGO community. The assessment was undertaken in early 2012 on behalf of the Business Innovation Facility by a group of researchers through the London School of Economics MSc Development Management Consulting Project. The findings provide a useful basis to understand how inclusive business is perceived and defined, as well as how it is currently applied in practice.
